KFX Fan ?

Hi all,
I rode my quad at Pismo all weekend and never saw the fan go on once? is it poss it never gets hot enough or somethin? How do I test it ? I just want to make sure before I cook the motor or somethin. Is there a way to trip the fan so I can see it actually works or not and what temp does it need to be before it goes On? let me know.

I used to have one and my fan hardly ever kicked on, only times I can think of is when it was covered in mud and I was going really slow so no air was getting to it.
Do like Scooter said and let it sit and idle for a while after it is warmed up.

Fan has a thermo switch and it activates (OFF to ON) when the switch senses 205 F or higher. It stays ON until the coolant temp goes down to 196 F and then it turns OFF. The thermo switch is at left upper corner of the radiator.
Remove it stick it into boiling water with a thermometer. Measure the continuity between two wires coming out from the switch with a multimeter - no ohm reading menas the switch is open (fan OFF) and some resistace means the switch is closed (fan ON).
No guess work here.
