Bayou 3004x4 or Prarie 300 4x4?
#2
Your own preference should drive your choice.
The Bayou has semi-independent swing-axle rear suspension, a design more nimble over uneven terrain (as in, rocky) than the swing-arm Prairie.
The Prairie has a cushier ride, although Y2K and later Bayous are reasonably civilized.
Do you like to shift for yourself or prefer an "automatic" transmission? That's the big question.
Either Kawasaki is o.k.; however, all ATV manufacturers produce excellent machines in the 300cc displacement class (but not all have dual-range transmissions, or, as in the Bayou's case, semi-independent rear suspensions).
