Greeting all. I'm new to ATV and this forum. I recently bought a red '07 Brute Force 750i. All I can say is outstanding ATV on my hunting trip in ID.
Now for the real business: I'm currently looking to upgrade to better tires. I have narrowed it down to either the 26" ITP TerraCross or the Mud Lite XTR. Is going to 26" smart or should I maintain the 25"? The terrain can be vary, depending on weather. Conditions can range from dry hard pack, loose dirt, mud, and snow. These tires will be mounted on black ITP SS108 rims. The stock set up will be spares in case of unfixable flats.
Thanks for any recommendations.

Not familiar with particular model tires, but I know radial will give you much better riding/handling than the OEM bias-ply tires.
Go with 26" with 14" rim if your riding is mainly on smooth surface. More prone to have dented rim but better/faster cornering capability.
Go with 26" with 12" rim if your riding is mainly on rough/rocky terrain. Less likely to have rim damage, more cushion but less cornering capability than the 14" rim.
For my rough riding, I would stick with 12" rim.
Don't go any more than 26" tires, too much stress/wear/tear on the drivetrain component including the cvt belt in certain situations. Also, you will lose some out of hole acceleration due to increased diameter.

Well, I finally decided, after searching through 3 different forums looking at peoples tire opinions. I just ordered a set of 26-9-12 & 26-12-12 Swamplites mounted on black SS108 ITP rims. This cost me around 565 shipped.
Thanks to everyone for their opinions, especially v2rider for replying to my several PM for specific info.
