Default brute force 650 wont idle down

Started the 650 today after a cold stretch...It started and wont come down to idle at all. It wont even idle down enough to put it in gear. I let it idle like that for a while the choke was not on and it started to overheat. Its an 07 with 8 miles on it. Any help is apppreciated.

with only 8 miles on it I would take it back to the dealer, they should fix it.

when the motor is running move the choke lever back and forth several times. if the motor changes speed or tries to die then the choke is working.check and see if the boots from the carbs to the engine are installed correctly.

Do what Travis said. In the cold winter months here in WV, I turn the idle **** up when I start my Prarie, when it warms up I turn the **** back down to about 2000 rpm. Look in the service manual if you cant find it by eye.
