I have a 1990 bayou 300 4x4, I switched carbs. off of a 1997 bayou 2x4. Are they any different in the jets on these two machines. It still does not run well . I sold the 2x4 bayou so the carb. off the 4x4 is gone. I installed a jet kit for a 1990 bayou 4x4 in it, it still didn't help. Someone can give me some pointers if you will.. I am at my wits end with this thing but I am not going to give up ! please help me out and have a Very Merry Christmas everyone.

The types of carbs that come with the 300's are called CV carbs (constant velocity).... And they suck!!!!! Any little change you make to the engine or the air box or filter and the carb will have a fit and not run right. The best bet is to buy a new 32mm roundslide for about $95 and be done with it.
My lakota has the same carb as you have. I just bought the quad a few days ago. I cleaned it really nice and put it back on and never could get that quad fired up. I tried everything, starting fluid, choke on n off, air filter, no filter, etc, etc... until the starter was hot enough to fry an egg. All I could get was a pop here n there. Then I put a 28mm flatslide mikuni on it from another quad I have and it fired right up! It ran very strong, but smoked because I need rings. I will never spend any time on a CV carb trying to tune it up for anyone unless they are paying me big bucks... I always recommend changing to something simple and easy to work on if need be.

Bikebandit has them... Ebay might. Lots of other places online too.
They should fit. You may or may not have to run a longer fuel line because the fuel inlet might be on the other side. Anyway, they list the spigot mount size in the specs. If in doubt, you could call Sudco. Get their # from google.
