Wll, you are going to either have to take the engine cover off and have a look, or get a mechanic to look at it. There could be stripped/broken parts in there that need replacing, or the mechanism may just need a realignment. Did you do any work to the engine before it broke? Was it making any strange sounds or intermittently not catch before it totally went caput?

Unfortunately, not much that can be done over the net. You are just going to have to open her up, figure out what parts need replacing, and go for it..

What you need to do is either get your hands on a Kawasaki service manual for it, or pick up a Clymer manual. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a downloadable version online for cheap or free. Otherwise it should be pretty straightforward. You will need to remove the kickstart lever from the shaft it turns. Then remove the engine sidecover. Many times this will require you to remove the brake lever/footpegs/ or a number of other things. I am not familiar enough with the Mojave to say what needs to come off but that should become evident as you look at it.
