Congrats on the new Brute!

It's one hell of a quad. My 650 is awesome...I can't even imagine how great the 750 is.

Sweet truck by the way!

Nice! Let me know how she rides? I just bought one last week but haven't riden more than 5 miles because I live in Wisconsin. Bring up some of that warm weather you're having down there.

Four Stroke Tech has drop in pump gas motor kits that will almost double the rear wheel horsepower for $500. The kit I'm refering to will give you 50rwhp for $500. With the recommended setup and exhaust. That will more than make the brute an Outlander killer. You could outrun the majority of sport quads out there and still have an awesome trail - mud ride.

Sounds good but I'm just an average Joe that knows the basics. If I bought one, could I install one? If not, should I go to my ATV dealer? Would that affect the warranty? You said recommended setup and exhaust......how much more is this and what is the recommended setup......this may be more than I'm willing to pay?
If I bought everything and it was installed correctly, what speeds are we talking about with 2008 BF750 EFI?

Top speed won't really change unless you raise the rev limiter and do clutch work. But you will get there a whole lot faster. You can go as fast as your budget will allow you to. I would recommend you go to Kawieriders it's another Kawasaki forum that is more performance oriented. FST is Fourstroke Tech owned by Mickey Dunlap, Dynoray is Fundy Performance owned by Ray Fundy, and Flying V is After Midnight Racing owned by Glen ???. All of them are great builders and will be very helpful. There is alot of knowledge there and people will be happy to help you get all you can out of your quad weither your running a stock or all out race bike. Just about everything I have done to my bike came from knowledge gained from the guys over there.

HMF and FMF powerline pipes sound good. My dad just got one for his prairie 700. It's just a trail bike that he wanted to sound like our sport bikes.

Looks good TX Camo .Yeah the HMF sounds awesome on the brutes. I think the brute with the HMF is the best sounding bike there is. Wish I could get my polaris to sound like one.

Default Got my Brute!

My brother and I went to Muenster Saturday and I got 17 miles of trails on it. It almost caught fire at 8 miles. I was smelling burnt rubber smell but I assumed it was belt or new engine break in smell... Then it got real strong and smoke was pouring out from the seat and air box. I said oh **** I am on fire! I hauled nuts to the closest creek and dunked the machine, parked it and puled the seat ready to start shoveling water on it. Everyone needs to check their winch loom routing. The factory loom for winch wires was melting and burning on the front header pipe on my bike. I cut it out of the way and went on about my ride.
Another thing I noticed that the EBC kind of humps going down hills.
Loading it in the truck was a little tricky because it was like the shiv would adjust half way up the ramp and accelerate me. It does eat fuel. My brother rode the KQ450 and barely cracked full tank marker. I was 2-3 bars down in 17 miles..
The stock tires are crap I was blowing them off all the time. I may try 26 inch Bighorns...
The machine has stalled twice both times was a cold start, riding a block and coming to a stop, then dead. One time it took 30 seconds to re fire, the other was 5-6 seconds to fire.
I know why guys eat belts on these bikes. It is so fun to just go around romping and hopping the front end.
The rear brake sucks the big one. My Rincon rear hydraulic brake will lock up if needed and is crisp. This Kawi wet brake does not stop this machine! It barely holds it parked. I know it is adjustable. There must not be enough leverage on it.. I give the rear brake a 2.
The front diff control is also sad. I got stuck on a litte step up with three wheels turning. I grabbed the diff control and still three wheels spinning. My Rinny with the locker would have climbed right up.
Comfort and handling were very good. I let Bro ride for a while and getting back on the KQ was laughable, what a crap wagon, lol! I could really tell it was twitchy, had less engine braking, no power etc..
