2008 750i Problems

Ok, I got the 750 out of the shop last week and they replaced the entire wiring harness, said it had something to do with the FI light coming on.

Well, I rode this past Sunday and the FI light came on again and then the overheating light. Once again, all the antifreeze was sucked out and went somewhere. The FI light went off but the overheat light stayed on.

I also notice that I was hearing a constant humming (hi-pitch) noise coming from the motor, I'm guessing the belt? It wasn't there on the last ride. What a pain in the a$$. I traded a Polaris 800 EFI in because all my troubles, now I'm having them with this thing.

Does anyone know what's going on or have a similar experience.

SOUNDS LIKE WHO EVER YOUR DEALING WITH IS GETTING UP ON YOU. I HAVE A 07 AND LOVE IT I HAVE PULLED SO MANY PEOPLE OUT OF THE WOODS AND HAVE ATE UP THE SO CALLED OUTLANDER AND THE CAN- BEAN OR CAN-AM, LOL, SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED A LAWYER

 

If we are both thinking of the same humming noise, then its supposed to be there. I asked the same question to the dealer. Does the humming get louder as speed increases, or disappear if you go slow enough?

As for the FI light I am not sure, only time mine came on was after 15 minutes of riding the day I got it, the fuel line came out. It was a simple fix though, and I got a free tank of gas out of it. I only have 6 or 7 hours on it so far. Hopefully everything stays good. I picked mine up Feb. 29.
