after a search i found the temp sending unit that screws into the thermostat housing had a broken wire i soldered the wire together and now the temp light comes on when it overheats but still no fan

i ran a battery to the fan wires and it works so its not the fan motor I have looked for the buss connector that i have heard so much about but could not find one on the 2006 brute....

check the breaker under the seat. if its not sticking out, then your fan switch is bad.

Default 06 brute overheating help!!!!!!!

because the fan runs qiute a bit from alot of riding the fan fuse could be bad under the seat.i know alot of people who had to replace it, including me.buy a inline fuse at any auto store w/20ampfuse so if mud resticts it the fuse will blow and not cook yur wiring.also u can run water wetterin yur radiator w/yur antifreeze u can get that at the auto store 2 it will make yur wheeler run alot cooler, and its good all year long
