My kids were riding there 80 we had just got a couple weeks ago and I had noticed it started making a rattle type noise in the side case. I has noticed it stopped smoking as well. I had a 250 yamaha dirt bike that was oil injected as a kid and didn't like it either. So I ordered a oil injection block off plate and removed the injection unit and tank. Fired it up and it still rattled. So i pulled off the side case and the plastic gear that drives the pump was broke and that was the noise. The problem i see now is the front pully is loose like it is worn out. The nut that holds it on is tight. Is that pully supposed to be loose? And before all that it would only run with the choke on. I guess that could be a plugged pilot jet. If anyone can help thanks.
