Has anyone installed/purchased the inner fender kit for the Brute 650I or 750I.

It seems like it would help keep splashing water away from the intake. This is just going by the pics of it on kawasaki accesories page.

 

I have not, but others have with good results. If you have sputtering problems from splashing water, it is a good easy thing to try.

 

The only answer that is totally correct for this problem is a snorkel kit. I have had an '04 700 and now an '06 750, both had problems with water splashing on the motor and exhaust in warm temperatures.
You can try all the factory answers to this problem, but they will not work. I snorkled and now go through water over the seat and not miss a beat. I know this is a bit drastic of a solution for a problem that Kawi should solve, but HELL it looks good.
The whole job took 6 hours for a novice plumber, $40 for parts. You will not believe haw well the final product delivers.
