I have a 2006 Brute Force 650i and haven't even drove it yet.


Belt light is flashing and backfiring like crazy and won't rev up at all, but idles fine.

I got the reset procedure for the belt light but can't figure that out either

Someone help me please!!!

Found out the "reset" connector was missing and thats why I couldn't figure out the reset procedure.....no grey connector!!

Ordered new connector and hopefully she'll be GTG this weekend.

 

your belt or clutch shims may need soom adjusting if it was doing that stuff.

 

With only 220miles on it?

Would that be normal?

 

your belt light will come on after one hundred hours and will still perform normaly but when it goes into limp mode it means something needs to be looked at to much slack in the belt or something.
