Default Snow Plow Selection

Hi Guys,

Yeah I know spring is here, but I still want to purchase a snow plow set up for my 06' Brute 650 SRA.

I have never bought one before and after researching I must have the following:

1. Plow blade
2. Mounting kit specific to ATV
3. "Push tube" or similar. Not quite sure what this part is.

Researching prices online they vary widely. Warn's setup is pretty big bucks as is Swisher's.

I did find a entire set up at www.creeksidepowersports.com--They have a full setup for 329.99 with a standard 50" blade.

My questions to you experts are 1) Does that 329.99 deal look pretty good? 2) Would it be best to throw in another 50 bucks or so and get the 60" blade?
3) Is buying the most expensive setup matter. That is, in the ATV snow plow biz do you have to spend a lot for something that lasts multiple winters?

Thanks guys!

JON

Default Snow Plow Selection

Hello, I bought a Moose 60" straight plow from my dealer this winter and had very good luck with it. It really moves the snow; even the very heavy wet stuff. I was going at pretty good clip and hit something in the road. The spring system built into the plow saved me. It let the blade fold under and kept me from going over the handle bars. I backed up a foot and the blade popped back into position. I paid around $300 or so for it, and that included dealer installation. I know there are other good plows out there also.
