Default BF 750 FI

I'm looking at either purchasing a grizzly or a brute force-- i asked the same thing on the yamaha board last week, but what are the strong points of the BF over the grizz? i'm not looking for brand bashing, just some facts to assist me in my purchase. I am very familiar with ATVs, but am a bit split b/c of the power the brute has over the grizz...

Thanks!

I rode the grizzly, it may be better in every aspect (except power), but I wouldn't be happy unless I got the brute (650!)

both are amazing machines, I own a brute and LOVE it, but wouldnt pass up a well priced Grizzly. You really cant go wrong with either one. Just one thing I do know is a few people I know have Grizzlys and non of them cant get over the power of my brute. I hear plenty of comments about "man I should of bought a brute". It is hard for alot of people to pass up the raw power just for better handling or a better ride / stability. And the brute is aprox a grand cheaper give or take.

i checked out both at the dealer this weekend. I am VERY impressed by the power of the brute-- 650Mobrute, you are right, it is hard to pass up that power. I'm still trying to decide, but I was certain on a grizz until I drove both back to back. I think the brute is much stiffer than the grizz though (using curbs and turns to judge this).

Where is the brute a grand less? The dealer and websites have them at $7699 for the grizz and $7799 for the brute 750???
Thanks for the responses!

I got the 08 BF 750i (base) for 6800 plus tax. I don't feel it was a great deal but it was the best I could find within a few hours drive. Of course I added a wheel upgrade, Warn 2500 winch, skid plates. There was no way LOML would have let me buy those any time soon after buying a new quad. Better to ask forgiveness once.

I spent a lot of time going back and forth between several dealers. There is a Kawasaki dealer incentive on the 08 BF750i.

Sounds like your dealer is overpriced. They are selling for close that here in Canada, and they have always been cheaper in the US.
