03 Prarie 650 speedo reading "0"mph?

03 Prarie 650 speedo reading "0"mph?
After crossing a creek today I looked down to notice my speedometer was stuck on 0 mph while I was riding at varying speeds.
I looked around and couldn't see anything out of the ordinary.
Has anyone had this occur and if so, what is the fix?
Any direction on where to look/ what to do?

BTW, this is the first issue with ~1800 miles on the bike running 27" tires.
