I dont know what my milage is now but when my brute was new the milage was worse then my muscle car by far. After the first service I still dont know what it is but I have gone 60 miles and have not filled up since and the guage is still at 1/2.

Be extra carefull or u will overfill the gas tank & could cause blow out thru the gas tank vent under the POD.
I too always take out the white tube as it allows faster refills but I have learned not to fill it up w/gas into the filler neck, on a really hot day u will get gas to vent & all over the air-cleaner cover.
