I bought a 05 bf 750i. The 2x 4x light flashes back and forth. Now the manual says that this is a problem with the actuator so I jacked all four wheels off the ground put it in 4 wheel drive and all 4 wheels turn. The man I bought it from said it started this when he put a Dyna ignition box on it. Has anyone had this problem before?

 

I have had this problem before, 2 things can happen. Battery charge isn't keepin very well, but if it starts thats probably not the problem.

Other problem is the wiring under the seat has corroided, there is some underneath the fuse box ecspecially that does this. Check all your wires and you may have to re-soder them. After that you should be good to go.

 

Thanks I'll go through the electrics tomorrow. I know that the man I got it from used it to go swamping. He had 28" swamp lite tires on it.

 

yeah, if that is the case i guarantee that is the problem. I took the extra time and fixed up all the wires, and now I just take my seat off when its parked in my shop. I havent had any problems and i like ridin in creeks and stuff. Well let me know how it goes.

 

theres another topic on here about the same thing. it addresses it in your manual. it says it's the actulater, spelling? just had the same thing happen to my friends brute, it's in the shop now. still under warentry, they said it covers it. seems to be a commen thing with these quads, I have the same quad, it hasn.t happend to mine yet, damn
