Have a new twin air filter. Can I use K&N filter oil? Dont want to ruin new fiter by using wrong oil.

 

I can't see a reason why any oil at all wouldn't work. The oil just makes the foam sticky so dirt doesn't fly on thru.

 

all though this is true....my filter I have on mine (Pro Flow) specifically says not to use spray on oils, such as K&N. I'm sure you're fine, but some of them have to be soaked in a special oil.

what brand is yours??? Air filter that is?

 

Actually,,, lol,,, I've been using regular oil mixed with gas in a spray bottle. No problems to report yet. 2 things every filter should be compatible with... Gas and Oil! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

My air Filter is a "Twin Air" They sell their own oil but its costly.
