I am rebuilding a 1986 Bayou 185 for my daughter. The engine starts and runs ok but the valves are a little noisy. I believe that the valve clearance needs to be set, I have searched for the valve clearance specifications on the internet without any luck. I contacted my local dealer who informed me that the bike is to old and they don't have the specifications. If anyone has the valve clearance specifications it would be appreciated I they could send them to me.
