Cooling Fan never comes on

Cooling Fan never comes on
Hey fellow Kawasaki fans,
I have an '07 650 Brute Force with 57 hours on it, 571KMs. I was out with it this past long weekend with an '03 650 Prairie and a Suzuki (not sure what model). We drove hard all weekend and even climbed up a trail near the Oldman River campground to a height of at least 1000 feet. Not once did my cooling fan come on when I figured that it should have considering the rides we did and the temperature (+30 4 days straight). The other two quads' fans came on quite a bit when we would stop for a beer which I know is normal. We did notice though that my fan never came on, not once. I wasn't overly concerned because the coolant temperature warning light never came on.
I'm just wondering if this is normal?? Is it possible that even after a four hour ride up a mountain in 32 degree heat the fan did not need to turn on? even once? or is it now totally quiet on the '07+ models unlike the '03 Prairie's fan that whines for 30-40 seconds after shutting off the quad?

i had alot of problems with mine, the circuit breaker under the seat would always lose connection and the fan wouldnt work and one time the wire going to the switch that turns on th high temp switch was broken and didnt tell me that it was running hot until the coolant started boiling out of the overflow bottle. another thing it could be is the switch on the radiator not connecting the circuit and turning the fan on, disconnect the two wires and touch them together, the fan should come on. if it doesnt check the circuit breaker. i replaced me circuit breaker with one i picked up at my auto parts store.

I don't think it is normal.. I would check the connection on the temp switch located on the radiator. It would be non-throttle side of the machine on back side of the radiator. If it is a 650 SRA, you need to remove the plastic inside of wheel. I bet the crimp is bad on the wire and the switch is disconnected
