First off this is my first post, so be patient with me. My buddy is giving me his quad. The bike needs rebuild the top end. That's what he told me is needed. I need to know what a top end engine rebuild is. this is a Suzuki LT250R Quadracer. I have never done one so i am a novice. Does anyone have pictures of the process? If it looks too challenging, I will take it to a mechanic. Does anyone know how much it would cost to rebuild the top end? Oh and i live in the southern cali area in case it make a difference in the price. If anyone knows a mechanic in the LA area, please let me know. thanks

 

well a top engine rebuild would be rebuilding the head so pretty much valves and piston you need to rebuild, valve seals, maybe rockers, and valve springs, piston(and seals), wristpin bearings. before you start buying parts you should find out exactly what it needs

 

Any Idea on how much it would be to take it in to a mechanic?
