brute 650 vs 750
#2
They are nearly Identical in everyway except the engine size and 750 has DFI. I have heard that the 650 will actually outrun the 750 but I dont know if that is true or not, just something I read.
It would really depend on what you needed it for, and your pocket book. If I was going to get the irs model and the choice was between those and money was not an option I would go witht he 750 just for the DFI.
But I am completely happy with my 650sra.

The 650i is a good value when new. And used, too. The engine is the same design as the old Prairie 650 and is a powerful, smooth performer. Kawasaki messed up when it put 8 to 1 slugs in the 750, IMHO. Performance is good but could be a lot hotter with the higher 10 to 1 that the 650 uses. So the 650 only has a few less horses than the 750 in a smaller package at that. The DFI is great, but the carbs save money.

FI all the way.
I've had both & I for one will never go back to Carbs.
Quicker response, smoother power delivery & Yes the '08BF750 is faster than any of the other yrs of the Carb Models.
The '08BF750FI also gained improved shocks, better seat & great handling.
