Default B4 or After?

Installing a second battery for wintch and accessories. I am using a 90a isolator,. Question is it needs to be hooked up to the alternator, would you hook it up before or after the rectifier?

Light going dimmer is not a batt issue, but the stator output capacity issue. Dimming means you are using more current than what the stator can generate. If you are worried about running down the batt and not being able to start the engine in the middle of no where, no need to worry. Have you tried to use the pull start? It's easier than you think, especially if the engine is already warm. Just remember to open the throttle about 1/4 as you are pulling the rope (yes, a helper would be nice to have or carry a rubber band in your survival kit).
