Default I have a question

I am a tech at a kawaski dealership, we seem to be getting alot of 750's in that the motors are blowing up. I myself have done 4 so far this year and now 2 08s just came in the door. One the guy rode through some water floor board deep at around 10mph, got water in air box and wrecked the motor.
Who's fault is that, the custmers or Kawaski's.
The other one that came in, the guy said he was just driving in the ditch and started to loose power. No signs of water or mud in the air box. Again who's fault his or Kawaski's.

I see more and more of this model that are having problems, the valves end up getten dished, rings shot, and crank and rods are out. Biggiest deal is Kawi won't pay for valves, rings cause there "wear items".

Help me out here guys, what should I be saying to them?

Give them new ATV's ! They should be able to handle a little water. I doubt that Kawasaki would approve of that though. And I do not believe that riding through floorboard deep water at 10 mph would get water in the airbox. Good Luck. !

WOW...It would be nice to know if other dealerships are also seeing a rise in these types of problems. I just hope it's not the sort of thing that Dodge was facing with their Derango transmissions. They knew there was a problem, but refused to do a recall.

OK so I finally got to one of the problem brute forces that came in. So the custmer stated that rode through floor board deep water at 10mph, got water in air box and got water into the motor. I first got it running and changed oil, seems to run good and no smoke so should be good to go.

I called Kawi about this and they said no warrenty over spindle deep and a sertain speed. Which I asked if this info was in the owners manual, he said he thinks it is???? I replied back that my 660 gizzly I've went through rack deep water with no water in my air box!!!

I think all owners of these should call into Kawi and tell them this is BS, don't call your dealer call Kawi.

More to come as just started on another with a bad front cylinder rod out.

I've had problems with my Brute pretty much since day one. IMHO Kawasaki customer service is some of the worst in the business. I've called a few times to complain about the problems that I've had with the ATV and it seems that they just don't care about what they put out. They say "it's a machine, if you fix it, it will work" but after taking it to the dealer three times for them to fix it, I found out that it's not the case. I would like to think that they would like to know about all the problems that their customers are having, but I really think they are just throwing what we say out the window.
