brute force carb adjustments

I have a 05 brute force 750 i need to take the carbs off to get a chunk of dirt out and I know they have to be synchronized when they are put back on is this hard to do and how is it done

More than anything, those damn gizzilion screws and nuts holding the plastic fenders and covers take time. The carb itself is a piece of cake onec you get to it.
