hi ive got a 1500lb winch it wont lift my 100lb plow,it seems to be very slow even with no weight on it,any suggestions

 

How do you know it is running slow? Different winches have different line speeds. Have you had it for a while? Do you know how fast the line speed is suppose to be? Make sure you can hear it click in when you flip it from free spool to engage. What brand and model is it?
