I don't have the rev limiter changed. I can tell you that you can get one for a klr 250 enduro motorcycle and put it on. You can buy one at your dealer for about 300 bucks. I was told that it won't make much of a difference with the stock cams and piston. I believe that mojaveaddict has one on his bike, you might want to talk to him.

You can send your CDI box to FST and have the limiter removed. Cost 80 bucks and there is no limit to the rpm range then. The klr unit will still limit but at a higher rpm.You will get a slight benefit on a stock motor since the rev limiter comes in a little before the power band runs out. For a noticable change in performance you will need a bigger cam and any other mods would help. A pipe is a must and i assume you have one already.

FST number-814-842-6159 I plan to learn a little more about how to do a web page and start a Mojave/Lakota page. It will be more than just a bunch of pictures. I plan to include articles on hop ups and tips and things like how to cut your plastic and how to make maier plastic fit like stock. I've got tips on quick release rear fenders, better crankcase vent, 38 mm carbs, cams, porting, lakota oil cooler installation, swing arm lengthening, and all kinds of other mods. I will include the new Kawi sport quad on the site when and if it comes. It will be several months before i will have the time to do this. In the meantime, anybody got any ideas on a really cool name for the site?

Good idea mojaveaddict. I would definitely use your page to help me with my mojave project. I would like to hear about the rear fender easy release. That thing is a pain to take off and put on again. Any other helpful hints would be appreciated.

thanks for all the support guys. and Ramimac, I may be calling on you if I can't get get it in my old thick skull. Don't expect it too soon though as i am extremely busy. Hey, I haven't been on a Mojave in almost three months, for an addict that is big time withdrawall pains. I do walk by and admire and speak to my three mojaves every day though. My third Mojave is for a 500 Ninja engine transplant and other stuff. I plan to put the whole process and lots of pictures on the site. Can you say "110 MPH Mojave".

Mojave owners unite! Lakota brothers welcome and not forgotten.
