Hello i have recently purchased a 1996 Kawasaki Mojave 250 cc it runs fine when you pull it to start it the kick start didn't seem to want to engage to kick it over when i got it but i got an extra motor w/deal. I replaced the kick start from the spare motor into the one on the bike and everything went good til i went to kick it again now its the same like it dont want to engage any help or tips on what to check all the gears inside seems good not much wear thanks!!!

 

What part or the kickstart did u replace? reason being those quads had a problem with the idler gear and its shaft wearing badly!! There is the shaft the kickstarter is on then the idler shaft then that goes to the clutch which turns the motor over. If ur not sure waht i'm talkn about e-mail me for more info. I've been around these bikes since they came out
