Default Brute Force 750 backfire

Just bought a 2005 Brute 750, completely stock. Everytime I let off of the gas, as the machine slows down it backfires. Works great the rest of the time. I was told that it may be running too rich?

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Is this a hard job to do?
