does the kawasaki bayou 250 have the same motor as the mojave? I have the mojave and was looking to get a second quad: a bayou 250, and was wondering if it will be similar, like will the 36mm mikuni carb from cycle works work on the bayou also? what is different besides the plastic?

 

Also, how about the bayou 220? I am looking to just get another quad so my girlfriend can come riding with me, and they bayous I seem to find for cheap (under 800, the 220 I found for 600). Is the 220 really that underpowered compared to the mojave? how about the 250 bayou? I just dont want to get like a kids quad, you know?

 

The 220 bayou is still fairly powerfull, but one word of advice. It doesn't do acelleration so good in the lower gears. It tends to acellarte best in 4/5, 3 is ok, and 2 just seems a bit revvy.

Overall I would porbably reccomend a 250.
