Contact the dealer. I know on UTV's Dynatech's CDI has about a 25% fail rate.

this is an original mitsu unit.i just installed a dyna jet kit,and a dynatek cdi...man what a difference!!! best 225 i have ever spent, period. to test i ran the 750 w/ the stock cdi first, and she runs much better, then i switched the cdi's,and wow. my main purpose wasnt for wheelies ect,was for cleaner starting cold ,and drivability.i work this quad, cutting wood, pulling cars around, and trail maintenance around the farm.the jetting really cured this, and the cdi was for fun.im keeping the org under the seat just in case though.looks like it got really hot? still works.no if i can gt results like this for the kfx,im gunna be REAL happy!....is there a good sring for he primary that would wake the b/f750 up,w/o a big stall.???? i was thinking maroon epi?..hey guys what about the stock one out of the kfx700?? what would that be like in the brute??? thanks, mike

the hardest part is removing all the plastic, more of a pain than anything, really. i removed the side panels, and removed the carbs, but left the cables on. check the carb to manifold boots for cracks, mine were, and i replaced them. order a set before the jet job and just put new on,imho. the dynojet instructions are pretty good. i have been a mech for 30 yrs,but i still only did one car at a time. first the slide, then he bowl.the drilling is very easy.just use a small punch to help locate the drill. also i found on this site, the idea of the plastic prong foot covers the hole you drill, and it does,so i clipped the ONE that does.get it apart, and it makes sense. the needle, and spacers are straight forward, and the jet is just a bowl removale, and unscrew, and screw in the correct jet supplied. use the instructions to select the correct one,and dont guess! oh,carefully install the rubber diaf.'s back onto the carbs, mine covered the small hole and wouldnt work,so i carefully installed it again, and she ran good. the jetting seems spot on and gets ridof all the lean popping in the airbox crap.i also put a dyantek cdi on it,and wow! she runs so strong now. i found the cdi on ebay for 169 shipped, and the jets for 60? shipped. it will do more for the brute than anything for the money.just remember to lay out a clean towel, and take your time if not used to carbs, and you will do fine..oh becareful, she pulls the front up almost like my kfx, lol.
