Default Caburetion issue...........

Hey guys- havent posted in ages, but here's what's up. I have a 400ex carburetor on the Mojave with cycleworks .380 cams. I installed stiffer springs as I bent a valve w/o doing that, I lapped the valves while apart again and idles like a dream now. I have the needle at clip #1 and a #42 plot and a 118 main. when I wick the throttle open so as to loft the front end over a rut, it bogs bad, if ya don't let off and feather the throttle it'll die. I've had a 126 main and that seemed too big, seemed to have been a little better withthe clip at #1 with a shim. Any recommendation where to go from here................

Hey guys- did some tinkering this morning. Crorection on the first post, I previously had the needle at #2 clip with a shim, took carb apart this morning it was on #2 clip position with a shim. Also I forgot I went to a 38 pilot. I found a 48 pilot in my jet box and put that it. Idled better than a dream, warmed up and wicked the throttle open, much to my amazement no stumble- haven't had the oppotunity to take it out yet for real world affects but it looks good so far. Then I'm gonna sell it.............................
