So I've a got a 1989 Bayou KLF300-C2, yes its an old one haha. Anyways, it's been sittin in my back yard for about 6 years not doing anything, 2 days ago i decided to see if i could get it runnin'. The battery, i found was completely done for. took a plate off to see the internals, they seemed to be doin fine. so i got my brothers jump box and put it in place for the 12 volt battery, took me a while but i finally pull started it. saw smoke comin from the engine so i let off the gas and it died, found out the exhaust just needs a new gasket.
anyways i go out today to see if i can start it, i was planning on buyin a new battery, plug, and gaskets. I go out put the jump box on, the neutral light flips on but the head lights wont turn on this time, last time i had to pull start it because either the relay, or the starter was no good, and when i hit the start button on the left handle bar it just made a sound this time it makes no sound, i can still turn it over with the pull starter, but cant get it started I would check the plug but dont have a deep socket and have to wait till my brother gets home with some tools, so any suggestions on what i might need to do to get it started? sorry for writing a god damn book haha
