The 2008 is the first year of BF750 being fuel injected.

The spec sheet "sounds" awesome - it's got some mods that I can only dream of having.
However, what's the background of the quad?
Why is he/she selling?
Was it raced or ridden hard?
I'd be even more surprised if it was not raced with all that power adding parts. I mean why would anyone invest so much if it will not be ridden hard?
How's the cylinder compression?
Knocking noise from crank? (if so, rod bearing will let go soon).
If the core of the engine is in good shape and the price is right, I will go for it.

Yeah that is what I'm wondering. Just got an email from the guy and he wants to move it to ebay if I'm really interested, so after I come check it out I can just purchase on there. Reasons for move to ebay, so that I have proof of purchase. Tell me what you think. I wouldn't want to miss a deal, because I was too skeptical. I also don't feel like getting screwed. Thanks guys.

Sounds like a scam to me. I certainly wouldn't even think of it without looking at it or seeing the title.

Yeah I emailed him and said I would need to come check it out and test ride before any purchase went down. The seller isn't far from me, so hopefully I can go check it out and get a better idea of what I'm getting myself into.

If the seller is close to you and willing to let you see the quad in person before taking your $$, it would not be a scam.

However, just like when buying an used car or truck from a private party, you should check the VIN of the quad against the DMV paperwork. The 17-digit VIN on the 750 is located on the tube frame where the LEFT Front upper A-arm is attached.

This is what I received in return to asking for more background info on the quad.

The atv is already at a shipping company. I took the atv to them to be able to ship it to a potential buyer whilst I'm out of town, working on a drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico. My brother in law works at this small shipping company, and he promised me that it will cost me or you nothing to ship it in the ground us. Like I told you in first e-mail the atv is listed on eBay and that lets me use their secured system. I'm very busy with my job and I'm sorry I can't meet you in person. According to eBay you have 5 days from the time you receive the atv to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not.
So if you really want it I will give you directions/link to the auction on eBay motors because this is the only way that I'm going to sell this atv.
Mail me ASAP if you are still very interested in my atv because now I have more buyers still interested.

Wow sketchy I think I will look elsewhere.

Wow, this guy makes Clinton look truthful. I would respond that, "I am a deposed prince from Nigeria that has a fortune in valuable gems and gold hidden in a warehouse on the coast of Africa. If you send me money I'll be able to get the valuables out of Nigeria and I will pay you back ten times your investment." See what he replies then.

Just reading the first sentence, I knew it.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

And the quad description was way too good.
