Default Oil change help

Im changing the oil in my kfx400 i did this many times and i recently was told instead of just putting oil back in the reservoir you should take the one allen key bolt off the side of the motor and add a little in there. Has anyone heard about this before? Thanks for any help

If its a wet sump after you drain the oil tank there will be a cup of oil remaining in the cranck case.

I drain the oil tank then start the ATV for like 20 seconds and the additional cup of oil in the crank will pump into the oil tank and drain out. Simple and quicker.

Just add to the oil tank,it will instantly pump though the entire system.
