Default Mojave Electrical Problems

Hello i have 2002 kawasaki mojave with some very confusing electrical problems that i am hoping somebody can help me with so i am have weird fluctuations with the output voltage at the rad fan i measured the voltage with my volt meter and it read about 10 volts DC at idle but at around 3 to 4 K RPM it reads 20 to 24 volts DC so i thought maybe my voltage regulator was shot so i back-probed the 2 pin connector with the voltage regulator still connected i started the engine the volt meter read 10.8 to 11.2 volts AC at idle speed and now the confusing part at about 3 to 4 K RPM the voltage drops all the way down to 5.5 to 7 volts AC according to my clymer manual it says it should be around 12.3 to 13.7 volts AC at 3000 RPM but mine goes down instead of up i also check the resistance of the stator and it was to spec and now another confusing part in my clymer manual it shows how to inspect the rectifier and i did exactly as is states and it tells me that my rectifier is no good but if that was the case why do i get a DC voltage instead of an AC voltage all help is appreciated Thanks i apologize for the miss spelled words i typed this up in about 3 minutes Thanks again
