My 2005 BF 750 had a rattle (sounds like a loose heat shield, but I checked those) on the left side of the engine. It only is apparent during a certain RPM. It doesn't matter if it is accelerating or decelerating. FVrom what I have read about cam chains, it sounds like when those are bad it is loud and pretty consistent around the RPM range. Does anyone have any ideas???
