Default 05 Brute force 750

Hi everyone, my first post here. I have a 05 750 brute. Recently, after driving for a bit, the 2wd 4wd light starts flashing. Is this a common problem, and is it easy to fix.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

it does that every 100 hours or so to remind you to check your drive belt. lift off ur seat and there should be a gray 4 pin connector in there with a red wire looping back into it. find the connector that looks just like it in the main wire harness and unplug it and plug in the looped dead end connector. then unplug the 2 connectors by the front of your clutch cover that go to the engine brake solenoid. neext turn the key on and the 2wd 4wd lights will flash. when they stop flashing, in about 10 seconds, turn the key off. plug everything back together the way it should be and u should be good to go.

Everything you mentioned was exactly right, I found all the right stuff. But it never quit flashing from 2wd to 4wd, just kept blinking and blinking, any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance
