I have a 2006 750 brut force, the problem started when we went for about a 10 mile ride. The machine was ridden hard but nothing like it wasnt everytime it was ridden. The guy riding it held it wide open for about 3 minutes and was smoking the tires, then continued to ride for another 5 miles with no problems. All of a sudden it just stopped and made a horrific noise of banging. Had no power to go up a set of ramps to be taken home. We took it apart and replaced a bent valve on the front head and the noise still continues. Was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on what it could be. Any suggestion would be helpful.

 

keep digging, something in the lower end is making your noise, most likely a rod bearing, or a bent rod.
