KFX 450R chain????

Default KFX 450R chain????

Hey guys do you run a O-ring chain standard or X-ring and why?? It's time to replace mine and was wondering what you all use thanks!!

X rings tend to hold lube in/dirt out a bit better than o-rings. Either one will give you good life if properly maintained and tensioned. Don't forget to replace both sprockets same time as the chain. Worn sprockets cause premature chain wear. For what it is worth, I have had real good luck with the Primary Drive sets. Good bang for the buck, although I replace the whole set every year regardless of condition.

Make sure you do double torque check on the chain adjuster bolts which tend to become loosen easily. When the chain comes off while riding, it can crack the crankcase.

Thanks for the info guys I think I will go with the Xring once I figure out what is up with my motor thanks.
