Default 2006 kfx 400 fuel problem.

Hi, I need help with a fuel problem. I had my cases changed out, and after putting the quad all together it will not stay running with the fuel petcock in the on position or reserve. It will only stay running in the prime position. I checked all the vent hoses for cloggs. I am not sure what is going on with it. Maybe the vent hoses are not even hooked up right, but I can't find any diagrams anywhere. I am desperate as it has been 2 years since I have been on the trails. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks alot.

You will need to follow the vacuum line from the fuel petcock and find the fitting at the cyl head. Once you find it, stick in a thin wire to make sure it is not clogged. Also, get the engine running (on prime) and then feel with your finger to see if there is any suction/vacuum at the fitting (cyl head).

my vent line from the petcock goes to the carb. on the cylinder head is the vent for the oil tank and the little box. Not sure what it is, but it is on the brake pedal side and has 3 hoses connected to it one goes to the airbox, and 2 to the head. 1 in the back of the head and one on the head cover.

How many TOTAL tubes are connected to your fuel petcock?
