Question kfx 700 engine noise

hey my dad has a kfx 700 v-force and we just adjusted the valves and it is what the Manuel recommended to use for the valve gauge and it it starts a lot better know (would take forever to start up that's why we adjusted them)
so it starts right up but makes a clinking noise in the engine does anyone know what the problem is? the help is much appreciated

Maybe the valves were adjusted at exhaust stroke TDC instead of compression TDC. I am wondering if there is too much clearance now. How much turn did you make when adjusting the valves?

Good to hear that you fixed the problem.
Yea, when you adjust the rocker arm screw more than one turn when adjusting valves, the piston is at the wrong stroke...
