Just bought a 2007 KFX 90 and having trouble starting it. Does start with the electric start unless I block the air intake. Put in a new spark plug and battery is almost new. Seems like the engine is not getting gas. Could it be a problem with the jet starter/automatic choke? How could I tell if it's the problem?

Forgot to mention that we also removed the carburetor. It looked clean but we cleaned it anyway. That didn't fix the problem.
