Default 2002 Bayou 220

I am in need of new tires, but the tire size on the 2002 Bayou 220 is quite odd and I am having difficulty finding a reasonably priced tire -- I am a casual rider.

There is a listing in my local Craigslist for a set of tires and rims off of a 2007 KFX700 V-Force. Since I wouldn't mind a slightly larger front tire on my Bayou and it appears they will fit, does anyone know if the bolt patterns will match up?

Based on limited internet search, it appears that the rears might, but I'm not sure about the fronts -- very odd size at 21x8x9 -- would like to put on 22x8x10.

Please help.

Thanks.

Bigger wheels can add extra heat, stress, load, wear & tear to the centrifugal clutch of your 220. Since the same oil is used in the trans as in enigne, the same heated/cooked oil with debris from clutch is not good for your engine. Something to think about...

Cool

Try this site;

ATV Tire Search - Discount Tire Direct

Might check Amazon too. Going by pics of 220's I've seen over the years I wonder if they changed the tire size on it at some point part way through their production era as newer looking ones look like they have bigger tires to me.

They've stayed the same through out their entire 15 years of production from 1988 to 2002 as following.
Front: 21x8-9
Rear: 22x10-10

Even the new Bayou 250 (now no longer made) that replaced the 220 had the same size tires from the factory.
