How much are you fellows with deposits paying for your machines? My dealer says there are delays, and probably won't see any machines till early May.

my dealer is saying about 7000, but then i figure he will add in setup and other crap to jack it up higher, plus i need a winch, i doubt they will have a special on those right away, plus a hitch if they dont have one , as i have heard,

So far it appears the price is $6999. But in an article the Kawasaki product manager state the price was "around" $7000. What does that mean/ Possibly $7100 or $7200?

The prairie might be nice but if its $8000, then I will pass on buying it & get a Sportsman.

I got a excellent deal. They are listed at 6999 and my local dealer hooked me up for 6600 with $500 down to hold it. and I got wind that they are going to be out by the last week in march. They better be, because Kawasaki is sponsoring a huge Poker run in PA and will have the KVT 650 twin V on display. Another thing is that most of the dealers here are selling at list (6999) at least when they start selling them. I only found 1 dealer in the area that would cut me a break. The extra money goes towards a new trailer. If it was not going to be the Kawasaki KVT 650, I was either going to buy a Sportsman 500HO or Traxer XT. In my opinion nothing else comes close.

The Biggest Poker run on the East Coast. Last Year there was close to 8000 ATVs. It is sponsored by Kawasaki for the second year straight

When: Saturday April, 7 2001

Where: Cochranton, PA

I would suggest getting there on Friday and staying over night. Be on the trail by 7:30am. Beleive me you will need the full day to go 50 miles. Excellent Time ;-) Mud, Hills, Roads, trails, you name it is there.

I plan on doing 5 Poker runs this Year. Cochranton, PA April 7, Salmanaca, NY May, July & September, last but not least Newton Falls, NY.

Clearfield PA to Cochranton, PA 132 miles

Hope this helps
