Default Brute 650 and 750

i looking to buy a newer used atv this spring and i'm considering the brute 650 and 750. i've heard of a few issues with water going into the intake and airbox and differential issues. but how bad are they and what should i pay attention to? i'd be riding in mud/water and trail riding, should i get one? thanks

Yes, 2011 and before 750 can get water into the air intake if you go too deep or too much splashing.
The 2012 750 has different inner fender/covers and no such problem anymore. The 650 is carbed btw.
