Default Aftermarket Exhuast

I own 300 bayou. I have been restoring and upgrading it a lot build thread in the mod quads. Anyway I have heard I need to rejet to a size or two bigger. From what the pdf file says. Main jet option is 130. (125,128,132,135). Do I only change this jet? Since I just bought a new carb. Want to go a headed and upgrade. Bore for the motor coming later on.

What kind of exhaust should I try? Slip on fmf, or Dg. Any help is great full.

That's where my rejet has to come in play. I talked to a few bikers and dg is pretty good. They said if I felt any power loss then a rejet was needed if not to just run it. Got to research rejet since I bought a new carb and take it up 2 sizes. "I guess" lol

there is alot factors in play when adding a new pipe, is it a bottom mid or top end pipe. its been my experience that you may have to rejet in all 3 phases of carb operation. there is no easy answer just alot of trial and error you may go through a few main and idle jets before its right but you have to read the plug (plug chop)to know for sure. maybe some experienced bayou owners can give you a starting point but the rest is trial and error

FMF between those two. I've never heard a complaint about an FMF pipe before, plus for a basic one they go for relatively cheap.

I was hoping a kawasaki member would shime in. Cash really isn't a factor. I paid 700 for the atv and tire and rim setup I paid 380 for rims and120 for spacers. Tires where I want to say 480. Wish I could find another one like it close. Its like cars though newer they are more goodies and mods you have.

Missed this one.

I moved it over to the kawasaki section. You'll get more views from people who may have done this before.
