i have a 04 mojave 250 and it sounds like it has a rod knock. only its the weirdest knocking only on low end. if i ease into it it doesent do it. is there any other thing that can sound like a rod knock. loose clutch assy or timing chaim ?

 

Valves need adjusting?

 

I see on the kawasaki site it says balancer gear springs may cause this any thoughts on that ?

 

ok I know its been a while, but I replaced the balancer shaft springs and adjusted valves. it runs fine but still has this slapping/ knocking noise under heavy load.????????
