Thank you Kawasaki.

I watched the video of this ride of you and Doug on atvtv.com on youtube. I was quite impressed with how those Brutes got through that deep snow. His even still had the stock tires on his while you have the Sedona Mud Rebels, right? He even finally made me think that the lever for the diff-lock isn't such a bad idea after all. I like the button on the Grizzly but the lever doesn't seem hard to use either. Those Brutes were really working hard basically plowing through the trail.

The only time I can see the yellow lever being inconvenient is if you're in an off camber situation where you have to stand with both feet on the right wheel well. If the quad is tipping to the left it might not be a good idea to lean over the quad to the left to grab that lever. How many times have I been in that situation? Maybe 5-6 times. So, even to me it's not a big issue. Specta said someone makes an aftermarket product to hold the lever in when you want full lock without having to hold on to it.

I think there is an accessory that uses a pin to lock the lever in place. I think Doug mentioned it one of the videos about the Brute Force. It basically works like a manual parking brake I think.

I don't mind the lever lock at all. There are just too many other things I like.

I came from a 2001 Honda Rubicon, what's a locker??

Doug has one that "ratchets" that he got from High Lifter but I have seen it.

At this point I like that it unlocks just by letting go and one finger to engage.

Doug quite likes this 2016 BF.

We went for another ride last week. I'm surprised he hasn't got that video up yet.

I guess I had better get on his butt.

I got stuck on our last ride and the locker was of no use.

Our second snow ride video, The Back Way To Barney Lake I had on a set of Carlisle ACT HDs. They are great snow tires.
