Default Remove Top End Prairie 400

Got to remove top end to repair oil leak! Does anyone know if head and cylinder can be removed without pulling engine? Only have about 3 inches above head to frame...Thanks in advance

Browsing my service manual it looks very much like the head and cylinder can be removed with engine in frame.
